What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

Confluence remains an easy to use, feature rich document and knowledge management platform that continually improves but always leaves something to be desires in the editing experience that makes me wish I were in Google Docs.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love easy of organization of the docs, the life-saving version history and the ever improving ability to format different types of content like tables and lists.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I still find the editing experience clunky, less intuitive and less attractive than Google Docs, but it's so much better than it used to be a few years ago.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It really makes sense at an enterprise scale and even smaller and if you're using Jira, it's a great integrated compliment.

Pros

  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity
