What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

Confluence includes dozens of connectors with the most common desktop and mobile software, such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Onedrive, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Slack, Asana, Google drive, Google Calendar, etc ...

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Confluence labels are one of the most flexible and powerful features the tool has. Tags are keywords that are added to pages, attachments, or spaces to make it easier to group and find these items. It is important to note that the labels do not accept spaces and are stored in lowercase.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Confluence offers new tools with a new way of working, more efficient and specifically designed for collaboration within and outside of a work team.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Confluence allows us to organize ourselves so that all information is easily accessible. In addition, they provide a series of tools that allow the information to be better organized in order to make it easier to use.

What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

Confluence is an excellent platform for team to collaborate and manage their documentation, projects, resources, timelines, reporting etc. It is feature rich and provides almost every feature that is required to manage things at an ease. It can act as a central repository for the teams and help avoid extensive documents to be electronically transferred over the mails causing unnecessary overhead. Instead one may upload the documents on confluence and share the access rights to the intended people thus achieving the required security.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Integration with popular software life cycle management platforms like JIRA and Rally has indeed helped users to link user stories to heavily sized documents on confluence at ease. A good level of traceability is achieved helping users to refer the right documentation for a respective requirement captured on JIRA/rally etc.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes, the search feature loads un-necessary results in the result set, thus causing an extra effort to be spent in order to find the documentation the user is looking for.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

On and all, Confluence is an excellent platform for the teams to collaborate and helps them to drive the project delivery relatively smoother. There are some wonderful features from reporting standpoint which helps teams to reflect the work down in the best possible way for management to understand and drive value out of it. For any organization, this should be a considerably good pick.
