confluence organizes cross-team documentation well.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

centralized project papers make it easier for people to work together and keep track of documents. real-time editing and interaction with jira make work easier.

What do you dislike most about this product?

larger documents with many photos and links delay performance, making sophisticated project management difficult.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

ideal for atlassian jira-using documentation and project tracking teams.

What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

Confluence synchronizes with Jira ( our project management choice ), better than any other knowledge management software. As a result of synchronizing documentations on Confluence with tasks on Jira, project workflows are better organized and we've been able to ship software faster.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Confluence is easy to use. It is my belief based on experience , that the average user is able to begin using Confluence at a basic level, on their first day of use. This ability to learn to use Confluence almost immediately without a lot of preliminary training is an important part of what I cherish about Confluence.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Options for font styling are not adequate. Customization and documentation placeholder capabilities are limited. Limitations on the search functionality is another drawback.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

When paired with the right software products, Confluence brings a lot of visibility to day to day team activity.
