Slack to Teams and back to Slack for good

Likeliness to Recommend

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

Its wide range of Microsoft product integrations (and easy to integrate and automate like zappier)

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its integrations with all Microsoft products.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The product feels outdated. Overall we chose Slack again (After going from Slack to Teams in the first place).

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It does provide all in one solution (instead of choosing google drive, slack, zoom etc.), but due to that slows in terms of innovation.

Pros

  • Security Protects
  • Reliable

Cons

  • Less Performance Enhancing
  • Less Productive
  • Commodity Features

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

Provide input, support projects, and exchange ideas securely with Microsoft Teams while staying connected. Before joining a call, you can preview your videos. When you work from anywhere, it gives you the flexibility to adjust noise suppression and cancel background sounds. Instead of copying people into unnecessary emails, you can purposefully create groups to share messages and files with the right people. You can choose the video source you want to watch and pin it to your screen, as well as join your video meetings.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like Microsoft Teams because it automatically collects a list of coworkers' names so we can connect. Both external contacts and company contacts can be added. We can hold meetings and record them for later use and consultation. By syncing with the calendar, you can keep track of all communications and discussions within your company. You can transfer any information through contacts and share our files. We may communicate with co-workers and team members using instant messaging and video chat services.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The Microsoft Teams mobile app remains subpar. For beginners, the interface is time consuming and not particularly intuitive. For Microsoft Teams to work well, there must be a strong internet connection.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I suggest Microsoft Teams as it allows you to create a message and then send it to numerous channels. There are options for screen sharing, group whiteboarding, and individual or group calls with audio or video only. A call can be scheduled in advance and you can be alerted before it starts.
