Not as easy to use as older versions

What differentiates Google Analytics from other similar products?
Seamless integration with a range of Google products, including Google Ads, Search Console, and Data Studio. I like the comprehensive tracking and analysis of user behavior across various platforms. There are a lot of segmentation capabilities, allowing for detailed analysis of specific user groups. Its mostly user-friendly (newest version isn't as good to be honest) but customizability makes it accessible. Also like the real-time analytics, enabling businesses to quickly adapt to changes in user behavior.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like most its robust and detailed data reporting capability. It provides comprehensive insights into website traffic, user behavior, and conversion metrics. This level of detail helps us understand our audience better, make informed decisions, and tailor strategies to improve user engagement and conversion rates.
What do you dislike most about this product?
GA4 moved too many things/features around and it's a lot harder to navigate and pull the data I want than it once was.
Pros

The standard bearer for audience analytics
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Google Analytics from other similar products?
While there are other products on the market that can simulate what Google Analytics can do, but GA really provides a very direct view of your websites performance analytics. It can provide a very quick view of performance over almost any length of time, broken down by channel, audience demographic or even what pages were visited. Most of these can be visualised with a graph that's great for screen grabbing and adding to presentations.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I really like how much Google Analytics can drill down into audience behaviour, and show which landing pages on my website are attracting traffic as well as how much of that traffic actually converts. This makes it very easy to see what part of my user journey needs improvement.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Since the change to GA4, I have not enjoyed the product as much. The layout has changed to a less intuitive one and I miss being able to see my websites performance through multiple channels at once.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would definitely recommend using the training videos provided, they are helpful and quite clear, providing a very good introduction to even some of the more in depth features of Google Analytics
