What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Provides a platform to communicate on the share information to all the team members. The stakeholders can monitor & be notified of all the changes being made on the confluence pages.

What do you dislike most about this product?

1. Performance issues with Chrome or similar browser clients. 2. Constant email notifications about changes can be distracting; the option to mute them should be available

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

1. With Confluence, we are making release notes for each production release. 2. Development teams discuss product designs with the stakeholders using Confluence.

What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

Confluence has an excellent search feature. It also allows for very organized structure of documents, along with version history and access control features.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Confluence has excellent search to find any document accurately.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I dislike that Confluence does not have the best integration with other products such as Microsoft Teams.

I would highly recommend Confluence for documentation of any kind. It is very versatile and easy to use.

Confluence have lots of useful unique feature some of the unique features are, 1>Ability for all users to have public access to create their own content. 2>Single source for storing and accessing documents. 3>Permission manage is good feature to hide or show files. 4>Confluence also allows for many integrations such as Jira, Microsoft Teams, Lucid Chart, etc. 5>Using macros makes Confluence more interactive, useful and easier to display information. 6>It gives us lot of template while creating pages that is very useful. 7>All file formats like Ppt, Doc, Pdf are supported very well and can be previewed live without downloading.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Confluence useful for cross departmental collaboration of resources and knowledge sharing in organization. Some of the important features are, 1>Very Interactive interface which is very easy to use. 2>Version control is a required feature and Confluence does it well. 3>Searching the documents and content is efficient. 4>Automatic Email notifications of new updates in the Confluence. 5>Good permission control with self service capabilities. 6>Permission manage is good feature to hide or show files. 7>Lot of useful templates available for everything we needed. 8>All the content is secure stored and stored here with high security.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Confluence is a great Platform but some more feature and improvement can make it more better and effective in market. Some of the are like, 1> Importing feature can be improved so that word, pdf and excel files can be imported without losing formatting. 2> Drag and drop feature for creating forms can be done. 3> There is no way to export the documents to cloud storage solutions. 4> Better support required for collaborative editing of pages.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I highly recommend Confluence to those who are a part of a fast-paced team and looking to collaborate. Just having the ability to get notifications about page updates, comments, and tags helps the team. Once Confluence is populated with all kinds of documentation, their search bar allows users to quickly and easily find any item they are looking for with just a keyword. Try before you buy. They have a free tier in cloud version so it's always best that you try it before you go for licensed version.
