Amazing if you use Jira to manage sprints

What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

It works really well with Jira and is a vast document library, you have the ability to run multiple teams and projects on the same setup.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

How integrated it is with Jira, it makes my documentation on projects easy.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It has a lack of flexibility on documents, everything is very structured and this can be limiting at times

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would only consider this if you are already or thinking of using Jira. They really work well together

What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

Confluence is an excellent platform for team to collaborate and manage their documentation, projects, resources, timelines, reporting etc. It is feature rich and provides almost every feature that is required to manage things at an ease. It can act as a central repository for the teams and help avoid extensive documents to be electronically transferred over the mails causing unnecessary overhead. Instead one may upload the documents on confluence and share the access rights to the intended people thus achieving the required security.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Integration with popular software life cycle management platforms like JIRA and Rally has indeed helped users to link user stories to heavily sized documents on confluence at ease. A good level of traceability is achieved helping users to refer the right documentation for a respective requirement captured on JIRA/rally etc.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes, the search feature loads un-necessary results in the result set, thus causing an extra effort to be spent in order to find the documentation the user is looking for.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

On and all, Confluence is an excellent platform for the teams to collaborate and helps them to drive the project delivery relatively smoother. There are some wonderful features from reporting standpoint which helps teams to reflect the work down in the best possible way for management to understand and drive value out of it. For any organization, this should be a considerably good pick.

What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

Confluence has helped our organisation to be able to store all the documentation related to different projects and teams under a single location visible to everyone when required

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It supports all types of formatting required as a standard and also has support for plugins

What do you dislike most about this product?

Table formatting is not consistent when copied from excel and gets broken easily

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

A need to have tool to ensure all documentation is stored and accessible to the entire organisation
