What differentiates UKG Pro from other similar products?

UKG allowed us to configure much more complicated pay and accrual rules that other products could not accommodate. This helped when dealing with several different MOUs and different bargaining units.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Transparency of pay and accruals.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Accessing data is not as easy as I would like, but once you discover where it resides it is better.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Ensure you have the proper staff in place within each division. An overall IT department probably cannot handle first responder divisions.

What differentiates UKG Pro from other similar products?

My review reflects badly because I get sick of playing hard ball with customer success but I love using UKG. The product itself is mostly user friendly and I've become the system admin by working through the issues that I have had. I've not worked with many other products but the amount of things that we can do with UKG vs other software is nice to have it all in one location instead of a million different interfaces and logins. I'm recommending UKG as a product to my mom's company now since it is a way to their future, not just solving one HR problem today.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We have really liked the transition to WFM. Our implementation team was amazing and we've only had a few things to correct since going live. The interface to payroll has been successful an we are so grateful for that!

What do you dislike most about this product?

Tax payment services sucks and always has. There are people on this team who don't know what they are talking about and I literally have to teach them how to do their jobs because I cannot since I don't have the back door because we are only mid market?

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

That UKG truly is the future. To think about all the things that they have to offer and how each of those products will help the success of the company and its employees.

UKG Pro provides greater flexibility compared to Kronos WFC.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The Business Process Engine and the enhanced UI.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some of the features provided out of the box and shortcomings.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Make sure to have all applicable requirements to your company and review them before making a decision to ensure your needs will be supported in the product.
