What differentiates Trello from other similar products?

Trello is the most versatile project management software I have used . This is because asides from core project management, Trello covers a lot of non-project management use-cases within my department, including for brainstorming purposes, tracking day on day work activity, and even for managing our marketing calendar.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Trello is easy to setup from my own experience. Even for new employees who had very little experience working with project management tools, they were able to understand Trello in a matter of days, Secondly, I like the collaboration options and capabilities which comes with Trello like the commenting feature, ability to share documents and even bring team-mates into conversations by simply using the @ sign. All of these makes collaboration on Trello to be a smooth experience for me.

What do you dislike most about this product?

By default, reporting and analytical information around tasks assigned and managed is inadequate, in my opinion. The alternative for my department has been to make use of integration with third party visualization tools. Although this works, it is nothing like having Trello working with a proper analytics and reporting features in-built.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

While it has its major weaknesses around reporting , I think Trello does very well in every other aspect. The ease of use and setup that comes with Trello is what makes it easy for me to recommend it for others to try.
