Trello is the best in the market for servers

Likeliness to Recommend

What differentiates Trello from other similar products?

Great NoSQL type database oriented to documents, very useful because of the massive data that you can enter without having problems of screenshots on the pc working more efficiently, does not use tables and records as traditional SQL database, does not need a fixed structure therefore gives much more flexibility to enter a lot of data. We work with a system of: Database, collections, Documents and fields.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

When we found an open source program like this we implemented it to our workgroup. The objects are graphically defined through its code. In addition, we store all the properties related to a user in a document. It has many integrations with popular programming languages. With it we get simple input/output data seamlessly and directly, we do basic analytics, as well as multi-server cluster management.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Trello is very well characterized by its effective functions for the same reason we would like to see the improvement of the creation of indexes which is somewhat tedious at the time of elaborating them, it would be very helpful to increase the limit of storage of documents, implement the union of cross tables, the conformation of its backend is complex and requires a good understanding before developing queries.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is a very good program to start rapid development on a smaller POC, or, to serve as a backend for storing raw json based data as well, working unstructured data in real time. Its main forte is storing redundant, non-BCNF data, and querying it. So, it is recommended if you have any of those, it can serve you as the DB with a really fast start in the development or production process.

Pros

  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Trustworthy
