What differentiates Paycor from other similar products?

The biggest thing for us is having so many functions under one "roof" - as in not having a system for benefits, and another system for time entry, and another system for running checks. It all marries together.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The biggest thing for us is having so many functions under one "roof" - as in not having a system for benefits, and another system for time entry, and another system for running checks. It all marries together.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I dislike how many clicks it takes to get to a simple screen/task, and I do not like how slow and glitchy the app acts at times. Especially during time approval days.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I'm a minimalist which isn't super common, especially in higher education. So, my recommendation is having less clicks to get to the "point" of something, specifically approving time.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love the recruiting tool. It is by far our favorite. Great ease of use.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Customer service is lacking. They’ve tried to push too much onto the customer during the past 10 years. They also take too long to resolve too many cases.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It’s good for the price but understand there will be frustrations

What differentiates Paycor from other similar products?

Paycor's ability to simplify HR processes, which used to be very complex is what has set it apart from alternative platforms. By simplifying our everyday processes, Paycor makes it easier for HR professionals in my company to manage tasks such as employee onboarding, time tracking, payroll, and more. With the burden of processing routine tasks removed, HR specialists like myself are able to focus on more strategic initiatives, such as employee engagement, performance management, and talent development.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I appreciate the Self-Service Capabilities offered by Paycor. This crucial feature empowers our employees with self-service tools, enabling them to update their personal work details and access relevant day-to-day work information conveniently through the Paycor Mobile app. This eliminates the need for physical involvement from the HR department. By allowing employees to take charge of their own data, our HR specialists get to save valuable time that would otherwise be spent on manual tasks.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Navigating the reporting functionality in Paycor can be difficult, especially when generating custom reports. Improving the user-friendliness of the reporting interface would be highly advantageous. Additionally, I recommend that Paycor enhances its software by adding more features to ensure compliance with state regulations and local laws, further enhancing its value to my organization.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

We have implemented Paycor's HR software to automate routine tasks and processes, resulting in a significant reduction in manual data entry and administrative workload. This is a major reason why I recommend this software.
