What differentiates Paycor from other similar products?

For almost two years, we have relied on Paycor. Compared to our prior service provider, Ultimate Software, we are really pleased with Paycor. There is little learning curve associated with using the Paycor system. Our company's Human Resources division has been able to eliminate a lot of manual paperwork thanks to the Paycor system. Using Paycor has been a great experience for us.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

In response to our feedback, Paycor has implemented certain changes to address our concerns. Improvements in reaction time and quality of service have made them a top choice. Paycor keeps us apprised of their progress and includes us in testing phases. Given our interest in seeing the system thrive, this is crucial to us.

What do you dislike most about this product?

While there have been some growing pains as a result of the new customer service paradigm, the majority of issues have been addressed. The degree of customer service now rivals that which existed before the epidemic. Customer support might be sluggish at times, but it's getting better.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Learning and utilizing the system is straightforward. During its deployment, it may be adjusted to fit your unique requirements. Paycor actively requests customer input in order to fine-tune the service. This is great for companies of any size or for people who often juggle many responsibilities. Even corporations of a significant size might gain from using their products and services.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Clearly communicate the implementation plan and what support looks like for the first 90 days after implementation. There was certainly a disconnect from when implementation was "complete" and support during the first 90 days when we worked out the issues.

What differentiates Paycor from other similar products?

Paycor is investing in the continued growth of the platform and ensuring all sides talk to one another. I really like that the tool is an end to end HCM from recruiting to retirement. The system has an abundance of capabilities, is very intuitive, and has a team that will listen during growth or even times of frustration. I did a ton of research before selecting this product and am very glad this is the one we chose.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

General intuitive nature of the system - if you are willing to become a system expert you can do that. End users also find it extremely easy to understand and simplistic for all things in their employee experience from clocking in, taking eLearning, doing on boarding, getting company notifications, and viewing pay stubs. I also really like that Paycor is committed to continued growth.

What do you dislike most about this product?

As our organization rapidly scaled and added complexities, I found the payroll experience specifically related to tax management, to be complicated. Admittedly this could be because of internal team challenges with adding headcount and growing our own team and processes, and Paycor - it certainly was not solely on them. I wished that they had more staff during October - February - with payroll year end work, benefits, enrollment, etc. we found wait times to be long. The Ben Admin far longer to implement than anticipated.I would like to see Paycor use a project management tool for implementations versus just email updated; opportunity here.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Make sure you are organized and ready for implementation. Have questions prepared and have pre-work done to make implementation go smoothly. Don't hesitate to ask your Account Manager for additional support during key times, anticipated growth, or if you're looking to dig into or enhance a feature. They are happy to accommodate and open to suggestions.
