What differentiates monday.com from other similar products?

Automation! As busy as life gets, more and more tasks are set up to be automated. This alleviates workload and helps move productivity along, without worrying if anything fell through the cracks. I have used several other platforms in the past, each with their own pros and cons. However, Monday seems to be the one I am sticking with for now. While it is definitely pricier than I would like, the features outweigh the cost.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Workspaces! I can set up multiple workspaces and invite different members to each one. This allows me to separate work based on clients, which is perfect. I can assign team members a seat or simply make them viewers, which is excellent. I will say that the interface isn't exactly intuitive, however, the learning curve is luckily not that steep.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Seat allowance. When paying for seats, you only have the options they have preselected for you. I only have two assigned seats, yet I pay for three because that is where their plans start. The cost starts to add up if you try upgrading to one of their higher-tiered plans, regardless if you have a third member actually using the seat allocation. This is definitely best for larger teams, maybe not freelancers or single-employee businesses.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would say that based on the number of seats you are going to need, it may be best to look elsewhere. However, if you are going to be using 3 or more seats, then this product is incredibly efficient. There are multiple views and each team member can customize how their dashboard looks which is great for being able to prioritize assigned tasks and/or deadlines. There are apps for both your desktop and mobile, which is great for those who will be using this consistently. Browser access is great as well for those who only need this sporadically or possibly when using a different computer than the one they use daily.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Monday.com is a great place to keep everyone in the loop on the status of a project. It saves time and guarantees that no one is left in the dark by providing frequent updates to the whole team. Project administration is simplified by the easy addition of modifications to each individual work, which improves overall functionality. Previously, I've tried a few different project management tools, but Monday.com is by far the best.

What do you dislike most about this product?

To be honest, I just have a few quibbles with it, since it is otherwise wonderful and quite easy to use. I believe that developers should continue to concentrate on the user experience and put the customer at the center of their functionality. An outline is produced around each cell when you export Excel files, and when you move them about, the formatting becomes a little wonky. In the chat features, it's not always apparent which comments are major updates.

When compared to other project management software, this product goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone on your team is involved in the creation of this program so that everyone understands all of the settings that will make you feel heard and more confident with its usage.

The Monday.com dashboard is the stuff that dreams are made of when it comes to productivity. In all candor, the Monday.com toolset does not have any limitations on what you and your team are capable of programming with it. On the other hand, things will go smoothly once your staff has been used to the degree of control and thoroughness that Monday.com provides. I think it's so great that there is a template for anything that you may possibly need to perform at any given time. I make use of this in order to monitor the progress of client projects.

Because there is such a broad range of possible arrangements for Monday, it is possible that it will take you some time before you are able to get your workplace to appear just the way you want it to. The degree of control and user-friendly features will likely make the transfer less of a hassle and more of a relief.
