"The well-integrated gathering place"

Likeliness to Recommend

What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?

The ability to share folders with internal colleagues and to mirror files with OneDrive is useful. We're looking at how we can use the site to provide more information and do more. It's fascinating to examine certain data for individual files as well as other users' activities.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Microsoft SharePoint is the most popular intranet platform, and it also acts as a hub for cross-departmental collaboration. Security management, asset library, and effective document management are just a few of the amazing features. There is no additional charge for the new versions, changes, or additions.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I've worked with Microsoft SharePoint before; it's a complicated system to use and manage because it has so many capabilities. The cost of deployment is determined by whether it is a subscription, on-premise, or hybrid model. IT teams must plan ahead of time for integration concerns in order to save time and money.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Just give it a go. It's useful, and the connectivity with other programmes, such as forms and Outlook, are solid.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing

The best for online collaboration!

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?

I believe the main differences are related to integration and cloud file management for collaboration, where the cherry on the cake is having all of this in a cross-platform environment.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The best is the integration with Microsoft Office 365 and cloud file management. That allowed my team to improve their collaboration and performance. Since the platform was implemented we stopped sharing a lot of files by email. Now we can share only a link and then all the team can work in real-time to create content, analyze and get the best results.

What do you dislike most about this product?

As end-user I believe can be improved the search experience, because is very different from a regular search on the computer.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you want to improve collaboration, Microsoft Sharepoint is a very good platform to consider.

Pros

  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity
  • Helps Innovate
  • Continually Improving Product

"Fantastic for large workplace"

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?

I like how you can collaborate on papers and projects by sharing, editing, and working on them together that differentiates Microsoft SharePoint from other similar products.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

SharePoint is a web-based document management application, but my favourite feature is that it allows you to create your own webpages. It's not as if you have a full-fledged website. Still, for a small or even large team, such as a firm, it holds up websites that the internal employees of your unit use, so I enjoy this feature a lot from the standpoint of documentation organiser tools to accomplish so.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The most fundamental drawback I discovered with SharePoint is that it is just too large, and in order to fully utilise it, you must first master it. Otherwise, if you're seeking for a basic system, it'll be overkill.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Connecting SharePoint to the desktop might be challenging at times. To remedy this, I built a shortcut to my SharePoint URL on my desktop from the web. In terms of synchronising with Windows, I believe OneDrive is a bit superior.

Pros

  • Continually Improving Product
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Trustworthy
  • Effective Service
