What differentiates Amplitude Analytics from other similar products?
As someone that is not tech savvy, I liked the simplicity of the platform. I was able to start extracting and managing data pretty quickly. Other tools are too heavy for first-time users. I like how they're constantly improving and adding features to provide real time data.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ease of use is my favorite thing about Amplitude. I used this product daily as a CSM and relied on it to manage my book of accounts. I was able to see features my accounts used the most, and areas that could use come improvement. I love the UX/UI. It makes it easy to visualize and work with data. It's easy to set up funnels and conversion charts. It's easy to create custom events.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The data didn't always line up with other data imports we were using. It made it confusing and hard to unpack.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I wish I had some training coming onto the product from the vendor itself. I worked at a start-up and the training I had was internal. It was minimal and I had to work through my engineering team, which was difficult to arrange. I still feel like there were features I didn't know about or could have used more efficiently.

What differentiates Amplitude Analytics from other similar products?
The performance of the numerous versions in the tests (A/B testing) compared to the benchmark/control groups, which pages and flows our visitors generally leave, and how effectively they converted our users from page to page in our app and website. Where our traffic originates from (organic or sponsored traffic), the impact of advertorials/campaigns with real-time tracking, daily and monthly activity changes (users). Recognize the funnel drops in various flows, such as registration, help/support, and so forth. It's something we constantly do at Amplitude today, along with tracking user uptake on any new features.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Amplitude analytics products enable all levels of users to access and comprehend product information. It has a profusion of features such as funnels, pathfinder, and retention statistics, and it allows teams to acquire answers to a wide range of issues. It simplifies my job by allowing me to easily check different user pathways without having to generate complicated queries. I also find funnel analysis to be quite beneficial for determining conversion rates from one page to another.
What do you dislike most about this product?
One of the most significant disadvantages in our use case is that Amplitude does not save a 'real' device ID. When a user's data or storage is deleted, the device ID might be updated.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I recommend purchasing product analysis software if you do not already have it. And Amplitude is the way to go; if you're already using one, compare its features to those of Amplitude. When we were considering our alternatives, Amplitude was the most obvious choice. It aids in determining how the different versions perform in tests when compared to the baseline/control groups, which pages and flows our users most frequently abandon, and how effectively they convert our users from page to page in our app and website.

What differentiates Amplitude Analytics from other similar products?
If your metrics are really small (startups, pay attention to this!), you can use Amplitude Analytics for free. This type of subscription provide enough features and opportunities. That's about financial, not functional, but this aspect of Amplitude Analytics delights me the best
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Amplitude Analytics provides high level of customization possible to your analytics, collaborating with reports among other team members also rocks. Marketers should be in love with easiness of gaining insights from data collected by it.
What do you dislike most about this product?
- All types of cohort analysis aren't available if your subscription is not enterprise - Retention analysis can't be build "from the moment of Churn" (from the end), it should be build only from the beginning, and Amplitude marks critical events itself
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Establish a contact with their customer success development (you may get free subscription plan that will fit your needs) Enroll for any type of education courses for AA (e.g. in Russia Adventum agency has started nice course about AA, with certificate issued to anyone who passed the exams successfully)
