Amazon WorkSpaces is a managed, secure cloud desktop service. Amazon WorkSpaces can provision either Windows or Linux desktops in just a few minutes and quickly scale to provide thousands of desktops to workers across the globe. Amazon WorkSpaces helps eliminate the complexity in managing hardware inventory, OS versions and patches, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), which helps simplify your desktop delivery strategy.

What differentiates Amazon WorkSpaces from other similar products?

Amazon workspaces provides us to create and use virtual machines of OS such as windows, linux. The best thing about workspaces is that it lets you create all these machines online and not on our Personal Computer Space.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Amazon workspace’s virtual machines can be accessed from anywhere such as personal computers, laptops, android tablet, ipads. It helps in cuttings costs and the physical spaces required if we had set up a physical computer. We can add and remove users.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Amazon workspaces is an outstanding, terrific product developed by amazon. Hence, i do not dislike anything about workspaces.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

These machines can be stopped and started from where left off. We can are allowed to choose the ram , storage of the machines. Hence, you can go for it!!

What differentiates Amazon WorkSpaces from other similar products?

Amazon workspaces lets you create your own virtual desktop such as windows, linux. It can be accessed from any laptop, ipad or android tablet. This has been very helpful to reduces physical spaces required by the desktops and cut costs.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Multiple users can be added and removed on the go. The virtual desktop is hosted on AWS Cloud. Virtual desktop can be created by choosing OS, hardware requirements such as RAM, ROM size and in which AWS region it needs to be created. Aws workspace can be stopped and started from where leftoff. We can select weekly or monthly billing cycle option as per our choice. Paid Applications can be purchased from aws marketplace.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Although i have not tried every feature of Aws workspaces. Those features which i have tried have not disappointed me in any way.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Virtual desktops are the future. Please go for it
