The most useful tool I own on a computer...

What differentiates X1 Search from other similar products?

Everything. I've tried numerous others and none can: 1) show all results as quickly and efficiently; 2) work with as many online and offline sources; 3) show more documents without requring them to be opened outside the search tool; 4) jump as easily to search results. Honestly, nothing compares.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's just bulletproof. I've stopped filing assiduously over the years because I trust X1 to let me be able to find anything I have on my computer. So instead of vast Outlook folder structures, I use X1. Instead of intricate file and folder hierarchies on my computer hard drives, I simply trust X1 to get me there and I have larger pools of ducuments.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Not available on Mac. This has kept me from going to Mac for a number of years.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Just get it. It's worth the money.

The speed of the search

Searching for files just as easily as emails

What do you dislike most about this product?

The little envelope inside the search bar.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The speed and relevance of searching is better than Microsoft's built in search. Easier to use faster to synthesize the results.

What differentiates X1 Search from other similar products?

Can search into files, search via many filters and across networks very nicely. Included email, contacts and multiple directories if desired. Very nice product.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

search so many things at once. very comprehensive.

What do you dislike most about this product?

path filter is terrible. Inability to separated db by drives
