What differentiates X1 Search from other similar products?

With full-fidelity match highlighting and results display, X1 Search enables you to search email, desktop files, external file shares, SharePoint data, and more in a unified interface. Single-pane access to your company's stuff is made possible by the ability to search cloud storage services like Box and OneDrive alongside email, files, and SharePoint content. You can search your entire index using X1's search window, which has many text fields where you can type your search terms.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like how with X1 Search I can search Outlook emails, attachments, calendars and contacts. SharePoint is compatible with our workflows and offers native previews of lists and document libraries in addition to unique post-search actions. To change settings and add or remove data sources from the index, you can use the menu options to navigate.

What do you dislike most about this product?

X1 Search's installation and configuration procedures are a little challenging.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

To integrate search results from desktops, network file sharing, email, and cloud sources so you can preview and act on information wherever you are, I suggest X1 Search.

What differentiates X1 Search from other similar products?

To help you save time and be more productive, X1 Search allows you to act on retrieved information directly from the application interface, regardless of file type or source. All your desktop files, emails, external file sharing, and documents can be accessed and organized in one location. Using the tools to highlight and preview the results, you can search for the necessary data. Multiple desktops, network file sharing and cloud sources can be used.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like how efficiently X1 Search works with IMAP email accounts like Outlook, Gmail, Symantec and Vaults because it allows us to drill down into messages and find the information we need. To discover data saved in several web repositories from a single panel, we may connect the search tool to cloud storage services like Box and OneDrive. Before recovering a file, you may preview it in its original format to check its condition and confirm that it is the right document.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Not every data source X1 Search supports integration.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommend X1 you can search your emails, desktop files and cloud storage from your smartphone or tablet with the mobile app which makes it a tool that you can take with you wherever you go.

I struggle to say anything that I dislike about the product because I find the product intuitive and powerful.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I began using X1 after I heard a colleague rave about it. He was right. It is critical that I never lose information. With X1, I never do.
