Symantec Content Analysis uses a comprehensive approach to security that offers unequaled protection against known, unknown, and targeted attacks. Paired with Symantec ProxySG, Secure Messaging Gateway, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Security Analytics, or other third party tools, Content Analysis takes a layered approach to threats targeting network, mail, or endpoint traffic. Content Analysis uses both Symantec and other leading security vendors for allow list/block list and file reputation services, dual antimalware engines, machine learning, and deep inspection and detonation through on-box or cloud sandboxing.

The integration with proxy servers is the primary use. It features an integrated URL detection engine and works without issue with proxy servers.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Manual submission support for sandboxing.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It occasionally slows down client machines, and this product necessitates constant compatibility testing, especially when minor OS updates are released.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

definitely, I will recommend this to other clients and customers.
