What differentiates Sprout Social Professional from other similar products?
The centralized nature of social media management with Sprout. Having all company social media engagements in one central location makes internal collaboration more efficient, makes responses to social media enquiries faster too. I think that managing social media engagements centrally on Sprout has also contributed towards my team creating and perfecting a unique response management workflow.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The presentation of real time data on Sprout social is loveable. i can select the most important analytics to see in the moment, using the advanced analytics filter tags. The ability to contrast and compare select datasets across specific timeframes, makes trend identification in my organizations social media engagement straight-forward.
What do you dislike most about this product?
no way to make changes or edits to failed social media posts. For first time users in my team , the learning curve is always slow with new members . I probably had a better learning curve with this software a few years ago, but even then , it could had been a lot better.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
it's always my opinion that sprout social is a good software to checkout for teams, as far as social media management software goes.

Advanced & User Friendly But Expensive!

What differentiates Sprout Social Professional from other similar products?
There are incredibly comprehensive features, with custom workflows and unlimited social profiles. Advanced analytics and social listening tools are amazing and it's a very intuitive and user-friendly interface.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The advanced analytics are incredibly helpful for making data-driven decisions.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The downfalls: customer service is lacking, there is a pretty steep learning curve to learn all features to make it worth the money and the cost is astronomical in comparison to other platforms. These will likely be our reason to migrate out, as other platforms and software emerged that have significantly less cost with similar features.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Cross compare other platforms and write a "needs" and "wants" list. Determine the ROI for the steep cost of this program before moving forward. The money spent could be reassigned across two platforms in some situations, leaving $1k or more for ad spend.
