Sisense is the only analytics platform which I know of , that allows me to ask questions from my data in everyday language. This is most helpful for non-technical users, because it ensures that they learn enough about the data they are trying to analyze.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The flexibility and ease of use which comes with Sisense is what has impressed me the most. As a user, I am allowed to select from code-first , no-code or low code tools. This enables me to build analytics dashboards at my own level of expertise and pace.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Have sometimes encountered memory issues when loading data into parallel data models. Also, while compiling reports on Sisense , I am unable to use strings for comparison and rather forced to run my calculations within my data models .

Regardless of its advanced feature-set which can be frightening for first time users, Sisense has an analytics platform that can simply be used by every data and insights professional , not minding their level of expertise.

Sometimes it takes a long time to load the dashboards, resulting in a poor user experience. If no people use a dashboard, your cube continues to eat memory, increasing the overall memory usage and hence the time it takes to load. Sisense's loading and widget customisation are lacking. Indexing tables, particularly pivot tables, might be indexed more frequently. Upgrades to later versions have been necessitated by complicated security mechanisms. I'd want to resize the tabs over numerous rows and update the aesthetics.

If you don't save your data on a daily basis, date aggregation gets difficult, and the UI occasionally crashes. Minor difficulties with widget settings: auto scaling occasionally fails when several chart kinds are used (combined charts). Building cubes takes some practice. It's not obvious, and your expertise of structured query language may be insufficient. Sisense develops the software swiftly, however updates occasionally fail, resulting in unexpected behavior.

I strongly recommend Sisense to handle your end-to-end reporting and analytics challenge. You can fix your problem quickly and intuitively. Sisense should be your first choice for an integrated BI solution. Supporting hundreds of millions of entries without a separate BI optimized database may provide a challenge. However, if your data collections are tiny, Sisense is likely the most cost-effective choice.
