Bult for corporates and requires extensive HR training for junior admins

What differentiates SAP SuccessFactors HCM from other similar products?

They have a lot of features which work well together once you get it configured. Other products had a few pieces of the puzzle whereas SuccessFactors had them all.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The onboarding document management is great. It is very easy to onboard employees in other states once those states are setup.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The user experience is very rough. For example, if I say I have completed and objective, it should automatically change that to 100% done - it should not make me change both. There are scenarios with my staff where they have an object marked as complete that is 50% done. It it little things like that which pop up all over the product. I also don't like that we are not using a US based sever instance.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Be sure to do your homework. The implementation is not intuitive. Once you know how to configure something, it is easy to do - but figuring it out - you need a 3rd party.
