What differentiates Salesforce Starter from other similar products?
This tool simplifies keeping track of the sales lifecycle, follow-up process, CRM, marketing strategies, and much more which is not easily possible by human effort nowadays. Easy to work on the sales opportunities and keep a track of them through alerts. It contains complete information like the answer and resolves customer questions, sends/receive email history of the customer, data against the report, meeting information and more information which makes my life so cozy. I can quickly design my customised dashboard just using drag & drop. Along with customisation, integration and deployment are also very easy and seamless.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Well-built backend API's to access the data from the backend systems. Analytics plays a vital role in this application that's why customer Analytics has proven an integration is best. The most likeable feature for me is the availability of this platform on almost all platforms without any limitations all platforms have the same set of features. The Professional Services team has access to so much more than normal users do. We had a Developer come in and build out a Community instance. Right after that build was done, the Developer left. That meant that I, as the System Admin, had to navigate through technical questions and concerns.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Though customisation is a very important factor in order to the growth of any organisation because different customers have different requirements. Due to the nth level of customisation sometimes we face application performance issues and we had to connect with the technical team. The loading times tied to some features can be slightly longer than I would want. Most of the time our issue was resolved with the help of technical support and service team but sometimes it takes a lot of time not sure due to the limited resource during this pandemic. I do wish there was more built-in logic so it is more foolproof in terms of basic functionality.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Salesforce CRM is a very robust tool for CRM, offers great potential, is a high performance, this service is very good to use in large and medium organisations. I integrated "DocuSign eSignature" without any hiccup for digital signature needs and "Skype for Business" for collaboration across the team. The service integrates very well with emails, be it Outlook or Gmail, the software provides control of both contracts, quotes and orders. Due to its intuitive UI, this platform has become super user-friendly, and all credit goes to the magical dashboard. Along with the dashboard, reports, campaigns, leads, etc. are easily accessible.
