What differentiates Salesforce Pardot from other similar products?
Pardot offers streamlined data integration, our ability to nurture leads in complex workflows that can be made simply.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Pardot is a complete marketing automation system, it's lead generation and nurturing abilities as well as lead grading are my favourite aspects of the product.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There isn't much I dislike about the product, sometimes colleagues I trained could seem confused by the system at first. However the user interface does quickly become picked up after that and becomes simple to understand. The html email editor did also sometimes have small bugs but these got picked up quickly by support.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would say Pardot is a product that has a great ability to help a business with marketing automation. It streamlines the process and is simple and effective.

Easy to use if you already have salesforce

What differentiates Salesforce Pardot from other similar products?
We have looked at market leaders such as Pardot and Marketo - and their products are extremely similar. We chose Pardot because we already have salesforce and therefore we have a 1-stop shop for CRM, business automation and marketing automation.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Pardot just works. The new lightning builder brings the product back up to spec in terms of drag and drop functionality - but...you need a full salesforce licence in order to take advantage of this feature
What do you dislike most about this product?
Having to have full salesforce licences in order to use the new look and feel interface. If we were not salesforce users already, we would seriously consider alternative products.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Try before you buy.

What differentiates Salesforce Pardot from other similar products?
Pardot definitely enables more Automation and data integration than the CRM system our company was using earlier.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The journey builder & the customer re-direct links are two features I especially enjoy.
What do you dislike most about this product?
A prospect always has only one campaign. This makes it difficult to see the effect of a marketing mix on a prospect. This I hoped to see because not 1 campaign helps in creating a lead/prospect, but various marketing activities together enable generating a lead.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Pros: This product makes lead nurturing very easy. The journey builder and the redirect links are big plus points. Enables Automation Improvement suggestions: The Google Analytics connector is not very helpful. One cannot track GA activities in Pardot unless using a redirect link. It is not very user friendly (yet). For examples, I cannot make different folders at a particular view. i.e - when I am looking at the Automation rules, I cannot set them in folders. The only way to differentiate is via tags, which is not very user friendly. One needs to have a decent knowledge about the system so that he/she is able to work with it.
