What differentiates Paymo from other similar products?
Paymo is very flexible for better tracking, billing and continuous communication, enhancing the continuity of collaboration and integrating many functions intelligently.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like what Paymo achieves in terms of continuous updating of all current tasks, to organize workflow and follow-up. I liked the ease of preparing invoices and integrating their updates with email, as well as helping to document them directly in customer files. Paymo scheduling is excellent and enables us to ensure that closing dates are not delayed.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The negatives are always ineffective, and only occur when there is a misunderstanding of Paymo features. Customizing tables, dashboards and forms is very easy.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Paymo simplifies administrative and financial tasks and ensures a unified workflow for the entire team.

Fastically simple and cost-effective

What differentiates Paymo from other similar products?
It's simple to use, has great time tracking and invoicing capability, and is extremely cost-effective.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The customization of the invoices to be perfect for what I need.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Sometimes a misclick can cause an invoice to be canceled.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you're looking for time tracking for invoicing clients and managing different clients with invoices (what I use it for) you can't go wrong with Paymo.

Great product with strong time tracking features

What differentiates Paymo from other similar products?
Paymo is focused on a few features : per project task management, time tracking per task, and invoicing. For my freelancing activity it’s perfect because I bill my clients based on the time spent and need to track my time efficiently. The desktop time tracking app is a but complicated but very useful.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Time tracking features and reports on time spent.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are some things that still annoy me even after 6 years using Paymo. The invoicing features are not secured, it’s possible to edit an invoice after sending it, and even to delete an invoice that has been marked as payed ! Compared to other tools offering invoicing features it’s weak regarding finance management. I also dislike that the product does not manage the fact that a project can be invoiced with a daily rate instead of an hourly rate, here in France daily rate is the norm.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you want a cheap tool that integrates task management, time tracking and billing for your freelance activity, give it a try. For a team, I don’t know.
