What is your favorite aspect of this product?
MSTR is HyperIntelligence. This capability provides "zero-click" insights by embedding contextual information directly into the applications that users already interact with daily, like emails, web pages, or CRM systems. With HyperIntelligence, users get instant access to relevant data without even having to open a dashboard or run a query. This approach to BI is especially appealing because it saves time, enhances productivity, and empowers users to make data-driven decisions at the exact moment they need the information. It’s an innovative way to deliver insights seamlessly, making it a unique differentiator in the analytics space.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Cost can be a concern. MicroStrategy’s enterprise-grade features and licensing structure make it a substantial investment, which may not be feasible for all organizations, particularly small to mid-sized businesses. What differentiates MicroStrategy One Platform from other similar products?
It is available on web and mobile and easily accessible.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's pretty easy to learn if you have already used some other reporting tool in the past.
What do you dislike most about this product?
As I have been working as a Data Engineer and most of the times, I need to create Attributes and Metrics in MSTR developer tool for business reporting. I find it annoying that the Default table join condition is INNER JOIN and sometimes restricts data visibility and we need to take another route to make it work for special cases where LEFT or RIGHT join is required.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
MSTR is for big enterprise level reporting, where you have multiple schemas and complex architecture. If you have one database and few tables and less complex joins and conditions, you may choose other less costly tools.
