What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?
Microsoft SharePoint lets you access the documents from any part of the world. Anyone who has access can work on it, and that makes it easy to track the progress.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I use it on weekly basis to update the excel sheets. I can see other people contributing to the sheet as well. It makes it easier for the organization since multiple people are working on it and it reduces time to update the information. Also, SharePoint is highly customizable.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Sometimes multiple users handing the documents can mess things up. Their way of updating the information may not tailor with your way. Unless, there is a standard template, it can look messy. Also, SharePoint can be complex if you are a new user and it requires extensive training.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are ready to spend time to learn the full potential of the PowerPoint and learn its customization features, it adds a great value to your business. Overall it is a great product to manage your documents.

Great tool for sharing BI documents and reports.
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?
We utilize SharePoint to exchange BI papers and reports, and it helps us build harmony across the organization's many important business departments for unified business solutions. Microsoft Sharepoint has allowed us design and generate standard BI reports, ad hoc reports, and exchange documents across teams, solving many of our business concerns. The best part is that the data is extremely secure and can be easily shared among members of organizations by simply enforcing some restrictions; we can also easily integrate it with other tools.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's fantastic to be able to share folders and request stuff from outside the firm, which is a vital part of our daily lives. Microsoft Sharepoint is simple to use and integrates with practically all of your business applications. It also provides excellent features for fostering meaningful collaborative and integrated work across many teams within the organization. The finest feature of Microsoft Sharepoint that I discovered is its simple and efficient BI reporting platform; it is very quick and comfortable to exchange direct messages or have video chats with other colleagues; and the data is secure.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It has a lot of issues and isn't always easy to fix. Microsoft Sharepoint can be readily connected with comparable apps inside the same system, but it's not so excellent when it comes to databases and third-party tools. It can be difficult to use at times because to the numerous customization possibilities available, it can be costly in the event of a local or hybrid model, and in most situations, training is necessary to use it properly.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Microsoft Sharepoint is really valuable for fostering a collaborative and integrated work environment throughout the firm, and I would strongly advise anybody contemplating using this application in their organization to do so. SharePoint enabled me and my coworkers to access critical papers and web sites for our jobs, as well as benefits and payment information and frequently asked questions. By uploading all relevant papers to our own portal and providing us with access to a centralized weapon for key company news and announcements, SharePoint has freed our HR personnel to focus on other fundamental areas of their employment.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
