What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?

The advantage of Sharepoint with the rest of the competitors is the easy integration it has with the Office suite and its reach so remarkable because it belongs to Microsoft

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect is the facility to interact in real time with the rest of the team to be able to edit documents simultaneously, I also love how I can have granular control over the company's documentation and all the access levels that I can grant.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I dislike the most is that sometimes documents are not synchronized so quickly

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommend that if you come from a network where you share documents through SMB, you review in detail the permissions that you must give to each user and thus guarantee an optimal granular deployment.

Easy to integrate, could upload large-scale files. Better to purchase is with Microsoft other programs

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Able to upload large files, supports mobile version. Enables users to create files in a document library and save files in ODF and makes it easy to edit files

What do you dislike most about this product?

All of the features are great, but they could make access security better

Great product for the money value

What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?

Sharepoint is not just an online storage tool as many users think, it is much more than that; within its broad portfolio of options it offers document management, collaboration and storage which is extremely useful for a work team. With the creation of private sites a whole work group can access daily tasks and perform real-time management that is immediately reflected by other colleagues.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

In large organizations where a large number of files are stored in different locations, the efficient indexing of files and use of metadata is to be gratefully acknowledged, allowing easy search of files when required, even if they are rarely used files.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Since my work team works daily with documentation that is mostly in PDF format, it would be nice if the tool had some advanced function that works with OCR, since in these situations we resort to download the files to our computers and perform the required work and upload them again to the shared site, this is definitely a wear and tear.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Considering the current social situation due to the Pandemic and with the trend of remote work, I think that this tool greatly facilitates the work in a work group making it seem that they are in the same physical place when it is not so, Microsoft Sharepoint adapts the tools so that users do not need to make use of external applications and the truth is that it has succeeded.
