What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?

SharePoint was designed for companies to create intranets, so that employees can collaborate easily. It's also used for document management. But what sets SharePoint apart from other systems is its ability to organize and share different types of content.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

You can use it as a secure place to store, organize, share, and access information from any device. All you need is a web browse

No such issues.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

One of the biggest benefit of MS SharePoint is flexibility. Being a collaborative platform, SharePoint serves best as an intranet, which is ideal for meeting companies everyday tasks of information sharing, scheduling, contacts management etc.
