What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?

In addition to being a centralized place to share documents, it has more sophisticated features such as Controls for site libraries and OneDrive Customized sections that are specific to departments, as well as communication and social collaboration options Simplicity for sharing, downloading and publishing documents

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

As a collaborative environment server is excellent, it is highly configurable and we can manage our documents securely and efficiently, storing and sharing them. My favorite features are: Simplified navigation and commands. Good support for mobile browsers Site sharing by members and owners Large file support Sharepoint mobile applications Content sharing Quick search

What do you dislike most about this product?

These are minor inconveniences I might add, such as delays when editing a document within Sharepoint. Its overall performance is good.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is a worthwhile software that helps to protect and share information between teams while maintaining productivity and promoting collaboration between workers. I recommend it. There is a learning curve if you are not familiar with this type of tool, but if you have used an ECM in the past it is no problem.

What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?

I consider that one of its strongest points is the exchange of documents and the size limit that can be delivered, it is much more capable and the time to deliver is exceptionally short. It also has access controls, where some can only view and others can edit.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like SharePoint for the fact that it is a tool that seamlessly integrates and manages shared content, it is a secure place to store and organize information. >I have access from any device >Linking with MS Office 365 products, which makes working simultaneously more practical and faster. >Assists us by sharing huge records (good capacity). >Messaging. >Default models are clear.

What do you dislike most about this product?

If you want to start modifying it there is definitely a learning curve. I didn't like the user interface at first but I got used to it, but that doesn't mean it's the most intuitive.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

My recommendation is that you have patience getting to know the software so that you use it correctly and get the best out of this product, I can tell you that it is the best solution for central storage of all documents, uploading, tracking, management and sharing.
