What differentiates Maptitude GIS from other similar products?

No other product I looked at provided such a simple means to defining and communicating regional boundaries. The level of data that sits behind this tool set is the most comprehensive I have seen to date. I didn't want to have to manually draw lines and, except for a few remote geographical instances, I didn't have to.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Once setup, the ease in which I can define boundaries for our regions, thus determine the zones in which our network can operate.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It does take a bit of getting used to to understand how the product is approaching the task at hand. The purpose behind the various display manager functions was not initially clear. This was addressed through excellent sales support.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Define your objectives at the outset. It is a powerful tool, but just make sure your objectives are understood by yourself and MAptitude before you go too far. I had to do a bit of manual work, but that was because I was restricted to the use of Mesh Blocks to manage my regions.

The first is its reasonable prices and the second is its ease of use.. It provides all the funstion I need in my work.

Get the free trail and spend some time learning it. I think most folks will it more than meets thier need.
