What differentiates Kneat from other similar products?

I have not found any other product that does what Kneat does. The design allows you to easily transform any validation program into an electronic business process, while keeping the core components of quality, compliance, traceability, and accountability intact. With a product like Kneat on the market, no company should be performing manual, paper-based validation of anything from computer systems to equipment. The software can be configured to handle any type of validation practice and documentation.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One of my favorite aspects of Kneat is the concept of the "Document Pack" where we can wrap all the deliverables we might need for an initial validation or change control into a single object. This allows us to easily add new projects quickly, with auto-assigned, meaningful numbering, and a selection of templates ready to go for whatever must be included, and the ability to discard what is not needed.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Configuring the backbone of the system such as workspaces, disciplines and document packs is not super intuitive. These are tasks I don't have to do frequently in the system. Therefore, I typically have to reeducate myself, and it is a little difficult to train others in my organization.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Get your user requirements in order and know your business process inside and out, so you can make educated decisions early. Also, try to be flexible and understand that you will need to make some concessions, as it is impossible to duplicate your manual process 100% in a technology solution. Finally, be open to change and acknowledge that often this will lead to process improvement and more efficiency.
