It’s great scaling capabilities SLA tracking and analytics. Great for analysis

Scales out easily

I rather think it’s somewhat complex to manage

Simplifying it’s management and providing quick support that truly try to see the issue raised resolved not pushing it to other integrated vendors

It is best used for reliability, with redundant components and failover capabilities which ensure continuous operation even in the event of hardware or software failures

The scalability of the HyperScale X Appliance is my favorite feature. It's a versatile solution that can expand to meet the demands of your company because it's simple to add capacity as needed.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Compared to standalone devices, integrated solutions might occasionally be more expensive up front.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Its integration with cloud must improve which can help in faster automation.

File Explorer Granular Restore Individual files can be located and restored from backup media without the need for full system mounting and restore.

Virtual Machine Backup Automatically discovers and protects VMs as they come online, move, and change. Production VMs are replicated to a secondary data store.

Replication for Long Term Storage and Disaster Recovery Onsite backup data is replicated and stored to a public cloud (AWS, Azure). Can also include restore-to-cloud capabilities for Disaster Recovery as a Service.

Backup of Cloud Based Data In addition to targeting backups to the cloud, the solution also has the capability to back up primary data and services already in the cloud.

Integration With Storage Arrays Integrates with APIs from major storage vendors (NetApp, HP, Dell EMC) to leverage capabilities in these arrays such as data snapshots and replication.

Application Awareness Application consistent backup and granular restore for application data from core applications such as MS SQL, Oracle, MS Exchange, MS SharePoint.

Physical Backup for Multiple Platforms Backs up data and system info for non-virtualized systems. Primarily Windows and Linux servers but also, potentially, AIX, Unix and others.

Backup Automation Solution automates backup, recovery and remediation tasks using RestAPI and CLI to integrate with 3rd party solutions, reduce cost and enforce standards.

Automated Backup Testing and Verification Goes beyond monitoring whether backup jobs completed by verifying the integrity of data restoration.

Deduplication Implementation Deduplication of redundant data blocks is implemented by the solution. Deduplication can be at source, target, or globally (source and target).
