What differentiates Google Forms from other similar products?
Google forms is easier to use then its competitors. We have used multiple software over the years and Google Forms is easier for our staff to use and get the hang of quickly.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Getting responses from a large audience across our company quickly and being able to stack the data in an organized way. Whether we are asking about a leader's job performance, surveying for thoughts and innovative ideas, or simply getting our employees lunch orders, Google Forms makes it easy to get a myriad of data quickly and organized.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There isn't anything that stands out that I don't like, however, there have been error codes pop up that I am unfamiliar with, and sometimes response timing can be slow.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
From an accounting stand point, my department has used this in so many different ways to collect different types of responses from our employees and other departments, that it makes getting responses easy. We are able to G-chat the link to our different surveys in a workspace that pops up easier than an email so the priority supersedes other emails. It offers the clear, uniform, comfortable to use atmosphere that google provides, throughout each form. The ease of customization has been very helpful. Would definitely recommend this to any employer with employees in hybrid positions.

What differentiates Google Forms from other similar products?
Google Forms stands out for its seamless integration with other Google Workspace apps like Sheets, Docs, and Analytics. This makes data collection and analysis intuitive within the Google ecosystem. Form creation is simple with drag-and-drop or pre-made templates covering common use cases like RSVPs, quizzes, or client intake. Collaboration on form design is easy with built-in comment features. Logical validation options help prevent submission errors. While advanced features like skip logic or conditional branching aren't supported, add-ons help expand capabilities for a fee.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love how Google Forms removes friction from creating simple surveys and questionnaires. The user-friendly drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to quickly build forms for any needs from event RSVPs to customer satisfaction surveys. I like that responses feed right into a Sheet for instant data compilation - no manual entry needed. Form features like multiple choice questions, images, confirmation messages upon submission, and custom themes make my forms engaging. Being able to easily collaborate with others on form design is so useful. Form validation helps prevent errors and incomplete responses.
What do you dislike most about this product?
While Google Forms is easy to use, there are some limitations to note. Advanced form logic like skip patterns or conditional branching based on responses isn't supported. This can make creating complex multi-page surveys tedious. Customizing and formatting options are also relatively basic, especially for marketing or branding-focused surveys. Data analysis and reporting capabilities are limited within Forms itself - users need to export to Sheets for deeper insights. Response deliverability and advanced email options seen in tools like SurveyMonkey or Typeform are missing.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Google Forms works best for basic data collection needs rather than advanced surveys. Take advantage of pre-made templates and drag-and-drop to quickly build registration forms, client intake forms, quizzes, and more. Use Forms for internal polls or feedback where respondents already have Google accounts. Enable options like confirmation messages and response limits to control submissions. Export responses to Sheets for analysis or charts. For more complex surveys, test if Forms' validation and branching limits your question logic. Consider add-ons if needed for extra customization.
