What differentiates DELMIA Apriso from other similar products?
Ease of Customization, using no code Platform "Process builder". Multi site deployment made easy. Plug and Play Integration with PLM (3dex Demlia) is out of the BOX, so that MBOM and Bill of Process (Route, Process Plan) and 3D Work instructions can be effortlessly transferred. OOB Integration with SAP for Execution order import and follow-up. (IDOC , and other formats supported). Machine Integration is easy and CNC Cockpit helps us importing CNC programs from 3DEX to machine via cockpit. CLosed loop issue resolution (CLIR) helps us enabling Digital continuity between PLM ERP, APS and MOM landscape.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It works well for the continuous manufacturing and discrete manufacturing industries. Easy to skill up your business and technical team in this product. Find the right implementation partner, start with an MVP and Pilot programs for the first three months, actively participate with the implementation team. More than 50% of the responsibility is with the OEM side than the software vendor for a successful implementation. Good Luck

What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The real-time visibility and control that DELMIA Apriso offers over manufacturing operations. This feature provides a comprehensive view of production processes, inventory levels, equipment performance, and workforce efficiency, which can be crucial for effective decision-making.
What do you dislike most about this product?
One of the main disadvantages of DELMIA Apriso is that it is essentially custom software. While theoretically everything can be done with the system, However, this approach may not align with customer requirements in terms of time and budget
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
1) Ensure you have the correct implementation partner. 2) Be aware that it requires significant effort for customization to fit business requirements. 3) Consider the potentialities of the system because theoretically everything can be done but in practice, this approach cannot match customer requirements in terms of time and budget. 4) Be prepared for the maintainability of Apriso as skilled resources are required.
