What differentiates Dayforce from other similar products?

DayForce differentiates itself from other products in this space with its innovative and technological enhancements. Many products in this space are standalone entities and can be hard to navigate. That is not the case with DayForce as it has separated itself as easy to navigate and use for our employees so that they can stay efficient in their day to day jobs and not have to worry about latency.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of the product are the configuration and integration with other products that DayForce allows. This allows us to use the product in tandem with our other systems and allow employees to have ease of use as they move between applications that they need to complete their day to day tasks. Additionally, with the integration we are able to clearly and easily see data parallels and not have to worry about misinformation through data transfer.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The one aspect that I dislike most about this product is that whenever we submit an IT ticket for an issue we have noticed that it takes quite some time (4-6 business days) to get an answer or a solution to the problem that we are experiencing. This can cause delays in our business and cause us to miss substantial deadlines if we cannot find a proper workaround that will work in the short term.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend this product to anyone that is looking for an all in one, easy to use solution for their growing business. This is a product that can grow and evolve with a company and continue to scale as the business does.. It will allow you to simplify your business operations and allow your employees to be efficient and successful in their day to day tasks.

For an HR team in a large marketing company, it’s helpful to have everything centralized, from tracking working hours to ensuring that payroll aligns with labour laws.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Dayforce updates in real-time. This means that as soon as an employee logs hours or requests leave, the payroll system adjusts automatically—reducing manual errors and last-minute corrections.

What do you dislike most about this product?

While it’s powerful, it can feel overly complex, especially when trying to make quick schedule adjustments or pull reports.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Training employees to use the system efficiently takes time, and even experienced HR teams may struggle with some of its quirks
