Click-up is the leader in the project management software space and is usually the first to roll out new features which is then followed by their competitors.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like the ability to set automations and alerts to announce the project/task status and also raise flags with others who are not involved in the day to day but need to be kept informed.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There are things about every project management software that are not perfect or that you wish it had because others do. I which this had a Digital Asset Management function to easily manage marketing assets in an easy to view and sort manner.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Do your research and choose the tool that will be the most tailored to your needs. Don't just focus on the features but focus on how they solve your pain points.

What differentiates ClickUp from other similar products?

Spaces in ClickUp allow you to create tailored processes, all based on your team. Running a flash sale? Design an environment that features implementation of time options, stock timekeepers, and social analytics. The “Everything View” must be one of the smartest UI designs; they all place tasks, documents, and even KPIs in a single list scrollable by default. Plus, the built-in time tracker shames Toggle with its simplicity.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

This board's professionalism features such as switching from Kanban, Gantt, and calendar views without losing previous data. For performance marketers, the goal tracking templates are a treasure, as they automatically work out the ROI based on ad spend and conversions. And with the Chrome extension, you can transform any web page into a task. Found a competitor's ad? Save it to ClickUp in as little as two clicks.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The learning curve isn't steep. Despite the fact, I found myself still learning about features hidden in submenus even after half a year. Also, notifications can overwhelm: Of course, there are notifications like “Task updated!” “Comment added!” or “Someone breathed near your project!” Switching them off is as exhilarating as a bomb disposal man disarming a dangerous explosive device.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I even tried ClickUp for a Black Friday last year when we had 200 tasks, 15 collaborators, and about zero amount of sanity left. However, when the CMO suddenly requested a promo video the night before the deadline, ClickUp's dependency notifications reminded me that we didn't have enough time before the site would go live. However, one thing that I still remember and won't forgive was when it somehow managed to synchronize 50 similar tasks.
