What differentiates Bloomreach Engagement from other similar products?
I find them as the best combination of features, user interface and experience and support (or one of the best because i may not encounter similar level of integrity among others). they may not have all the features we need, some competitors could be better in mobile in-app messaging/personalisation or web personalisation are not really working well with Angular or their catalogues performance should really be updated anytime soon and the list can be continued. they really care and their support would go extra mile to help us with our challenges providing with crazy workarounds when i think i reached the dead end in the search of a solution
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
their main features work excellent and freaking fast, providing us with the real real time campaign management experience. they can withstand highload and that is awesome considering the fact that we create an awful lot of events to trigger marketing campaign, to automate internal processes for our massive promos and auto campaigns. i like the most their scenario builder and the support of jinja so i could personalise/automate and deliver complex variations in the campaign management for a lot of countries/languages. i like how their merge works delivering 360 customer profile and that also helps with tracking and analysing our customers
What do you dislike most about this product?
i believe they still could do better in terms of enhancing their product/features. still, the level of their customers may significantly vary and they may have focused on rather inexperienced users who have just started playing around CDP/MA etc. they have the great team onboard, i do not exaggerate as i have managed frontend/backend dev teams as well as campaign operators and consultants. but they most likely humble themselves in terms of feature development and delivery. their competitors are more ambitious in that term and Bloomreach should really start gearing up as competition in this field is getting ruthless and ferocious.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
the product is awesome but if you do not know what you need exactly and have not prepared the technical requirements cheat sheets with as many details as possible then be prepared for a lot of stress and hire of external help while integrating the product and implementing their features. the team that integrate and the team that would then use in for developing and delivering marketing campaigns as well as analysing them and customers should also be led by highly qualified and ambitious leader. the level of campaign operators may be of entry level as their UI is quite easy to use: main features proficiency is easy to acquire within weeks.
