What differentiates Backlog from other similar products?

The interface is intuitive and easy to pick up and use. We opened our account, and within the first day, had our internal testing person start using it to log bugs for our products. We love the flexibility for project settings in adding categories and statuses, and being able to tag people on updates so everyone is notified.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's really helpful for my technical development team. It has different issue types and priority levels which give my team clear instructions of when to follow up. Also, once the assignee receives a notification its easy to understand the status and issue outcome in a very short amount of time. This tool is used by 5 different teams, including 3 internal teams and 2 supplier teams. Efficient communication and prompt record help various teams have better way to manage different projects and tasks.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It needs more filters to find out which work has been assigned for whom. Also sometimes the search feature doesn't work as intended. It will not show my search results even when it contains the keywords.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is a good tool for a mid-scale project. I wouldn't use it for very small projects or big ones.

What differentiates Backlog from other similar products?

A cloud-based platform that helps non-technical teams to interact easily. It helps in maintaining hierarchy of tasks and maintains an organized project workflow. It provides Gannt chart facility and Burndown Charts. These help with projects tracking in detail with dates of completion, ongoing tasks, and designated team members etc. The reports from both the charts are generated automatically.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Project managers are given the authority to update project details, due dates, assignees, and reviewers from Gantt charts. Developers can create their own repositories on Backlog using GitHub. It has a quick and organized issues reporting system and tickets are generated automatically with email integration.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The issues have to be moved manually and it does not allow to create links for navigation in Gantt charts which is often needed. Its issues log is very confusing showing one issue multiple times that gives user a tough time in debugging. A bug can only be assigned to a single member whereas multiple members can be working on a bug.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It helps to create better coordination among teams to complete projects in deadlines and keep them under budget. The app enables the team members to create their own Wikis, Gantt charts, and schedules.

What differentiates Backlog from other similar products?

Compared to other similar products, Backlog eases collaborations which in return enhances teamwork. It also ensures that ones tasks are well organized through discussion forums.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I am attracted to assignment management which keeps me aware of what tasks are assigned to what individual. As a result, I am aware of the ongoing, completed or stalled assignments.

What do you dislike most about this product?

My main issue with Backlog is its pricing which may not be favorable to upcoming firms.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommend Backlog to any project manager or task manager serious about their assignments. With Backlog, they can manage their assignments easily and without failure.
