What differentiates Atera from other similar products?
We primarily use Atera for monitoring and remote access. We are an information technology managed service provider, and Atera is critical to our success. Its tool set makes it a more efficient and cost-effective choice for our company than other options. Furthermore, ongoing development allows us to use even more of our products in conjunction with Atera. atera is useful for businesses with a large number of endpoints or clients that are managed by a small team. Because of its unlimited endpoints, customers, and integration with common billing software, it's ideal for MSPs. I believe there are better solutions for an internal IT team.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It is simple to deploy, either in general or to a specific customer. Remote management tools that are comparable to every other major solution on the market. Real-time alerts enable easy monitoring of critical systems. Configurable alert thresholds allow the system to be tuned to only notify when there is a problem based on specific metrics. Atera is used to track our computers and servers. It is only used on a daily basis by the IT department. Our employees can open tickets through a dedicated email address. Atera excels at patch management and remote software installation. There are numerous alerts, but we do not always have a solution.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Network Discovery is a paid feature that requires extensive preparation on the client's network. As there is no integration The ticketing system is cumbersome and requires a client e-mail to be used. Other solutions' complexity is lacking in the network discovery tool. Automatically categorizing tickets from specific sources. The ability to change the appearance of the customers tab. In the iOS app, you can see the entire device name. The update part of patch management always displays errors on the entire fleet. Shutting down or restarting the computer does not always work. More is required. We would like to see more scripts in the library.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Atera works well in a Windows and Mac environment, and it is ideal for small to medium-sized businesses. A fantastic solution for both start-ups and established businesses looking to expand. The interface is simple to use, with a small learning curve. Not suitable for businesses that support Linux servers or remote mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Robintree is a managed service provider, and we rely heavily on Atera to manage our customers' IT infrastructure. Using the Atera system, we perform automatic patching, driver updates, and remote help desk. In addition, we conduct system audits on customer fleets to identify problems

Buy the product, if there is something that is missing, verify the request on forums. The team is constantly improving the service.

We just love atera and would be lost without it

What differentiates Atera from other similar products?
We love the look and feel of Atera also the pricing model works for us as we install it on every machine that come through our offices so per end point does not work for us
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Heldesk is loved by us and customers
What do you dislike most about this product?
We would love to be able to login once on our machines and then only asked to login again say every week
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
We trialed most of Atera's competitors but we just love Atera and doubt we would ever change providor
