Perfect for small-team task management!

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Asana from other similar products?

The free version is mighty and filled with great features. For a small team focused on task management, you don't need much more.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The fact that the free basic version is great! The features in the Premium and Business versions far outweigh the Basic plan, but for our needs, the free basic plan is a solid, reliable, and easy-to-use task management solution. I love the templates and often use them as a base or starting point for projects. The integrations are also great, and easy to use. We've integrated Google Drive, Slack, Google Calendar, and Gmail, but there are many more integrations.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There's a bit of a learning curve to using the platform, and it takes a little while to get a handle on everything. The lack of time-tracking is also a disadvantage, and you'd have to use an external integration for time tracking. Internal, native time tracking would be great.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Check out the templates. They're a great starting point for many projects.

Pros

  • Reliable
  • Enables Productivity
  • Helps Innovate
  • Continually Improving Product

Cons

  • Charges for Enhancements

What differentiates Asana from other similar products?

Asana permits you the liberty to be creative on how you employ their product so that it suits not only your project desires but are often customized according to how you work best. They’re continuously making new options and asking users for their input to create their product better. My favorite factor regarding posture is that the community that’s created within the culture of posture. You’ll always realize answers, concepts or facilitate within the asana Community.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Asana provides visibility to every} team companywide and permits cross-functional teams to communicate a lot of efficiently. Each task object will have many helpful relationships, from connected OKRs and KPIs to blocking users that are keeping you from finishing a definite task. Completely different views enable you to configure each project within the most adequate method and allows contributors to figure in the way they feel more comfortable.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There isn’t abundant to dislike regarding asana. However, I do suppose that the team may implement higher progress actions. Right now, a lot of normal actions that you simply would expect from a project management automation tool are pretty crude and most of what must be done can solely be achieved through an integration called Flowsana.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Evaluate and compare your tools and the way they might/might not be redundant in your tech stack and how it integrates with the remainder of it. In our use case, asana has been nice as a result of its excels in its integrations, simple use, and compatibility with the rest of our tech stack. I can’t imagine myself working without asana anymore.

Great software to manage projects and tasks.

Likeliness to Recommend

What differentiates Asana from other similar products?

We may use Asana to assign jobs to other employees and overcome the communication barriers that these activities imply. We saw a better rate of communication after switching to Asana because it is available to everyone with access. It instills a sense of urgency and accountability to accomplish outstanding obligations. Asana offered all of the tools that we use for project and task management.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The finest feature of Asana is the ability to manage numerous projects from a single interface; we can effortlessly navigate between projects and assign, delete, or remove tasks. Furthermore, the connectivity with many apps makes it a fantastic tool to work with. I appreciate that we can keep track of the tasks that the user submits. This openness allows me to know where that item is on the radar of another team and whether they are actively working on it.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I dislike the home page and the fact that it does not change at all. When I have a lot of unfinished tasks, they never appear on my real board. As a result, I must jot down the assignment details and follow up without being notified. Sometimes we need to assign a work to a group of users rather than a specific team. We cannot assign a task to many users in Asana. We needed to build several tasks for users to assign.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Asana is an excellent choice if your firm has multi-level departments that work on assignments together. It has made a significant difference in project management and communication between our company's buying and sales teams.
