Asana is the best ally in general projects
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Asana from other similar products?
Asana is used in several sectors. My colleagues in the department manage our work through Asana and also collaborate on projects with other departments. It allows us to control deadlines and meet obligations on time. We also monitor new ideas so that we always have a record of them to follow up. Not having projects tracked runs the risk of being forgotten when other obligations arise.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
We have Slack and Outlook as part of our solution, so we can monitor our project no matter what and read everything in one place (Slack). It is very helpful to divide projects into tasks and assign completion dates, who is responsible, among others. Asana sends reminders to the project owner in order to keep everyone focused and facilitates monitoring. The Asana practice allows anyone to break projects into smaller parts and assign them to other people.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Subcontract notes, discussions, and attachments sometimes go unnoticed if they are carried out from the main project dashboard. Email alerts can be overwhelming. They are under your control, but at first, they can be annoying, until you set how often you want to be called. It would be more helpful if this was included during the sign-up process. The inbox can be confusing if you only use Asana in its project dashboards and only visit it occasionally. It would be helpful if it would clear itself once you have assigned a project to a task as completed.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you work with a multidisciplinary team that has several projects on the go frequently, Asana is a kind of life-saving board. Everything can be brought together in one place. Delegation is convenient. Communication happens in the present moment. If employees and you have responsibilities that don't vary on a daily basis, it's probably not something that's necessary in your company. It is possible to modify it and turn it into "checklist software," but it wouldn't be worth paying for if it wasn't used to carry out projects.

What differentiates Asana from other similar products?
Around two years ago, we began utilizing this software internally. For the most part, Asana has met or exceeded our expectations. Our work is made easier, and we can keep better track of everything, using this system. Use is intuitive, and any problems we've had have been swiftly resolved by attentive support staff.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The intuitive design of Slack is one of my favorite features. Slack's real-time messaging is another feature I find useful. Maintaining constant, efficient contact with my team is a huge time saver. Because to Slack's wide range of third-party app connectors, we are able to effortlessly stay in touch and organized. Its search and organization features make it easy to locate the specific information and files I require. Moreover, Slack's UI is very customizable, so I may adjust it to better fit my needs and tastes. These are just some of the numerous reasons why I enjoy using Slack.
What do you dislike most about this product?
One useful improvement would be the option to assign many people to a single task. It would be very helpful to get a complete view of the work landscape across all companies. From a user interface and user experience perspective, it's overly complicated. It was difficult to grasp at first. Management of tasks software should be intuitive. and not have to consult a handbook only to figure out the fundamentals of creating a board.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It's perfect for our non-program profit's and project management needs since our employees can work together on the programs and track who's doing what and how far along they are without having to create a new task list from scratch. As an annual activity, tracking our donations and corporate sponsorship plan is immensely aided by having access to this data from year to year.
