Fantastic DB service from AWS

What differentiates Amazon Aurora from other similar products?
Amazon Aurora sleeveless make it standout from the other similar products. Aurora serverless is fast, agile and can carry out millions of database transactions in a minute. As it is sleeveless we don't need to manage it at all. We just use the DB as per our requirement and AWS will take care of the rest.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite aspect of the Amazon Aurora is it's automatic startup and shutdown feature in the Aurora Serverless Databases, If we configure the database correctly as per our application needs, there is no need to manually manage the DB uptime, it'll automatically schedules that by analysing the application access patterns. It helped us save a ton in the billing. Aurora clusters management is completely done by AWS no need for manual intervention.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Although the product gives the best in class features and performance, it comes with heavy price, we need to be careful whether to choose Aurora or Amazon RDS based up on our application requirement. Apart from that no downsides in the Amazon Aurora databases.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you want to decrease the IT overhead of your DBAs go for AWS Aurora
Pros
- Helps Innovate

- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
