What differentiates Akumina Employee Experience Platform from other similar products?
Akumina enables content owners and authors with a standardized, friendly content entry/editing experience. Akumina also simplifies the process of building and managing an intranet with out-of-the-box functionality that businesses want and need.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I particularly like Akumina's activity streams. They lend a decidedly interactive experience to a corporate intranet that is typically only found in social media products/platforms.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The platform could make use of better workflow support and enhancements aimed at the common processes tied to intranet content processing and preparation. Currently, the platform doesn't really contain this.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Ensure that the characteristics of the Akumina solution are a good fit for your business. Akumina can make use of existing intranet technologies (like SharePoint) on-premises or in the cloud. Akumina also offers a solid integration model for aggregating disparate data sources in and external to your organization.
