What differentiates Adobe Analytics from other similar products?

Adobe Analytics provides a plethora of options and a great deal of flexibility when it comes to segmentation. It is feasible to track single-page apps. Tracking is done first, thus cookie IDs may be gathered much more effectively. Report groups and even individual control panels can be used to restrict user access. It is also possible to integrate directly with other Adobe products, such as Target, for customisation. Adobe Analytics offers the connoisseur almost every possibility to create dashboards, reports, metrics, segments, etc. The flexibility and possible combinations are probably endless. Another advantage is a multitude of assistance

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Data transfers between Adobe Marketing Cloud and other situations, such as Google Marketing Platform, invariably result in losses. However, the usage of own cookies against third-party cookies somewhat offsets or even outweighs these disadvantages (e.g. Floodlight). The benefit definitely resides in the versatility and options provided by AA; nevertheless, this also implies that configuration is not instantly feasible. Users can create or customize their own dashboards after receiving an introduction and understanding of the necessary parts. Such as learning areas, videos and a large number of users on the web, who help productively.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Behind the clean design and user interface is a monster of intricacy. Just as with Photoshop or Excel, it all appears to be extremely straightforward at first sight, but there is a steep learning curve to overcome until you utilize the tool effectively and produce extra value. It is also simple to produce a job report that appears reasonable at first sight but exposes in depth that its content is utter rubbish. As a result, it is more of a tool for professionals than for beginners. Adobe Analytics offers a wealth of custom dimensions and metrics, which are only available in the GA 360 upgrade. However, Adobe Analytics is not free.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The core application scenario is the monitoring of general user behavior across our vast website. The production of detailed reports to answer specific inquiries is also connected very easily. The export as CSV or PDF, which is properly prepared for systems or administration, is a significant advantage. Because of the numerous configuration choices, usage is more complicated than with other systems and necessitates training. The connection of the Google panorama and other solutions is feasible, but always fails when the TechStack is changed. Furthermore, the costs are rather expensive. Standard GA tracking may be sufficient for retailers.

The tool has many features and metrics that can be tracked and is not limited like other vendors. Adobe Analytics has evolved over the years to become a model for what the ecosystem of data analytics tools and services should look like for organizations that rely on data and leverage it to make decisions. Adobe Analytics is no longer just a system for marketing teams as it used to be, but is now widely used by IT teams to provide technical solutions and delivery through the expanded use of API-driven programming and Expand BI data visualization systems. extensive configuration options for data acquisition and processing.

Connecting with various visualization tools is particularly easy so that data can be mapped to our needs. We use Adobe to quickly identify customer trends on our website and use those insights to improve the user experience and grow our business. Adobe's real strength is its ability to democratize data for everyone in the organization. Reports that used to take days to generate with SQL can be generated in less than 5 minutes by someone with no SQL knowledge. Of course, Adobe Analytics must first and foremost measure itself against Google Analytics. This is where the Adobe solution scores with extensive.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is a bit difficult to navigate and it takes good hours of work to understand the tool well. There are not many resources for the free version to understand and troubleshoot the tool. The success of an organization's analytics platform depends heavily on its implementation. While Adobe's documentation is solid, there is a lack of personal support. Sometimes I feel like the Adobe team is more interested in selling you more products than making sure the products you are paying for work. The lack of easily accessible and comprehensibly prepared standard reports is particularly noticeable when Google Analytics is to be replaced enterprise-wide

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Analysis Workspace is an excellent work surface for all those who like to do "number crunching", but it is also suitable for creating dashboards or regular reports. With a dedicated team in the background, Adobe Analytics can show its strengths, especially in the enterprise area. Ultimately, the standard questions in web analytics: Campaign tracking: tags on advertising media can be used to identify which advertising media are performing well. Usage summary: we can see which pages are visited how often and how far users scroll. This can be used to analyze content relevance.User diary analysis: ideally, you can also look at user journeys.
