What differentiates Acquia DAM from other similar products?

In all honesty, Widen is the first product that I have used and I have found no need to look elsewhere.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of this product thus far is the portal feature.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Right now, I have not run into anything about the product that I would say that I dislike, however, there are some features that I would like to see some improvements on.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For anyone that is considering this product I say, definitely go for it. Widen is a reliable storage for assets that can be accessed from anywhere and shared in many different outputs.

What differentiates Acquia DAM from other similar products?

A decade ago we trialed a few different products, and Widen was the clear winner in ease of usability, features, and overall experience of the product. Since then, part of the organization attempted to use another product, and our channel has continued our license with Widen. It is a superior experience, rich with features and has become heavily integrated with our Marketing operations. When you deal with a significant amount of digital assets (mostly photography and literature) a product like this is a must. Widen makes the management of this workload enjoyable, highly efficient, and a pleasure.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

If you are a professional looking for time efficiency and reliability, this is a great solution. I've saved hundreds of working hours by enabling our staff to access content within the Widen ecosystem, elimination the "asset fetching" of yesteryear. A trained team of sales reps is empowered, and will highlight your own career in a positive way.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There isn't really anything to dislike. I guess I could say new features - but thats primarily because I don't receive news from Widen on new things. Or it goes to my spam folder. Or I just forget to read the emails. Who knows? But it works, and I'm not over here clamoring for it to be a 1 stop solution for everything creative.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are a professional hunting for digital asset management and don't at least trial Widen, you are making a mistake. I haven't compared pricing in a while, but there is an intense amount of polish and value wrapped up in this service. Do yourself a favor and make that initial contact.
