StorONE Announces Partnership With Tech Data
On April 23, 2019 StorONE, a software-defined storage (SDS) company, announced that it has entered into a partnership with Tech Data. Tech Data is one of the largest distributers worldwide for technology products.
Tech Data has stated that it is excited about the opportunity to present four solutions to its customers based on an SDS solution. The StorONE SDS solution allows flexibility by allowing third-party hardware and standard protocols (block, file, and object) of customer choice (HDD, SSD, NVMe).
According to Joe Cousins, vice president of Global Computing Components, “StorONE’s software defined storage (SDS) offerings are compelling because of their ability to deliver high performance, high capacity and complete integrated enterprise data protection.”
“Expanding to the channel and having a distributor like Tech Data help with fulfillment is a winning proposition for all involved. Now enterprises throughout North America have a new avenue to purchase and implement four different StorONE solutions with the confidence of execution that working with Tech Data provides,” said Gal Naor, StorONE co-founder and CEO.
Our Take:
This partnership will increase StorONE’s visibility in the IT technology world and collaborating with Tech Data is a strong step in the right direction.
