Quest Software’s Toad for Oracle Streamlines Unit Testing to Better Support DevOps Workflows

Quest Software’s latest updates to Toad for Oracle adds a new utPLSQL unit test creation module that simplifies database development unit testing, making it easier to incorporate database development in DevOps workflows and reducing the risks of database changes.

In the absence of some automation with unit testing, it’s difficult to streamline database development and incorporate database code changes seamlessly in DevOps workflows.

In addition to simplifying unit test creation for PL/SQL code, this update also will make it easier for developers to organize and run unit tests, generate and review test results, and integrate tests with DevOps tools such as Bamboo and Jenkins.
