Beyond Getting on the Samepage
From the brand name to the online environment, Samepage sends very clear signals to users about what to expect and it meets that expectation. Samepage achieves its user-experience objectives, but is that enough?
The four criteria outlined in “taking the bore out of collaboration” are used to assess Samepage’s effectiveness as an enterprise tool:
1. Debates lead to elegant solutions.
2. Project partitioning and allocation is efficient.
3. Progress monitoring improves capital allocation.
4. Risk mitigation improves project outcomes.
The work environment is very inviting and the flow therein is easy to understand. The standout feature is a graphics editor available on a notepad-type environment. The chat environment, however, is too basic and does not complement the rest of the planning and content creation functions.

Our Take
Samepage does a great job of the collaboration basics and provides attractive content creation capabilities that other tools often overlook. Unfortunately the interaction environment is a little too limiting and the quantitative aspects of the tools are non-existent. For all its high-marks on ease-of-use, Samepage only achieves at best two out of the four requirements in our list of criteria.
