Zerto brings together everything that’s required to keep your infrastructure protected in a single, simple, and scalable cloud data management and protection platform. Zerto, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, empowers customers to run an always-on business by simplifying the protection, recovery, and mobility of on-premises and cloud applications. Zerto’s cloud data management and protection platform eliminates the risks and complexity of modernization and cloud adoption across private, public, and hybrid deployments.

The disk conversion time and the agent requirement's to maximize restore times.

It's a great way to ensure resilience, test thoroughly when you perform OS upgrades.

What differentiates Zerto Platform from other similar products?

RTO and RPO are exceptional. The ability to perform failover tests on separate networks without impacting production is HUGE!

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Failover testing.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I have no complaints.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is a higher cost solution, but you get what you pay for. Features, support, and testing capability are worth the price.

What differentiates Zerto Platform from other similar products?

Ease of use is very high, configuration and recovery is quick and painless.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Ease of use.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Journal warnings continually requesting more space. This ultimately clears after 1-3 days of synchronization, but will appear to show a resource is not allocated enough space, when in fact the configuration of new data + purging of old data does not happen at the same pace within the day to day operations of our institution.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Buy it. Overall this product is efficient and performs the job well.

Replication for High Availability Beyond secondary copy backup, the solution also manages replication of primary data host-to-host and site-to-site for live failover and high availability.

Backup of Cloud Based Data In addition to targeting backups to the cloud, the solution also has the capability to back up primary data and services already in the cloud.

Replication for Long Term Storage and Disaster Recovery Onsite backup data is replicated and stored to a public cloud (AWS, Azure). Can also include restore-to-cloud capabilities for Disaster Recovery as a Service.

Continuous Data Protection Changed data is replicated continuously and maintained in a journal, allowing an application to be consistently restored to almost any previous point in time.

Backup Automation Solution automates backup, recovery and remediation tasks using RestAPI and CLI to integrate with 3rd party solutions, reduce cost and enforce standards.
